Description:

In his short stories, Israeli writer Etgar Keret plays with fantasy and reality. His own life, too, seems a modern fairy tale. In this hybrid documentary, Stephane Kaas and Rutger Lemm investigate why storytelling is an essential aspect of Keret’s life.

 

 

 

Stephane Kaas

Stephane Kaas is a Dutch filmmaker who studied both the Art Academy (Rietveld Academy) and the Dutch Film Academy (NFTA). He has made several short documentaries, fiction films and satirical films that were screened online, on tv and on film festivals around the world. His first feature documentary is Etgar Keret: Based on a True Story.
