Description:

Guram goes to Kakheti in order to see firsthand the ancient Georgian religious feast of

Alaverdoba. He hopes to see a genuine festival of his people: horse racing, wrestling, etc.

Contrary to his expectations, as Guram enters the yard of the cathedral, he encounters a

bunch of drunks who have turned the religious feast into a binge. Disappointed, Guram

steals a stallion and gallops into the crowd.
