Description:

After a heavy decision, Anna and Juhan are unable to move on with their lives. They take time off at their friends' fancy summer house and once there, are forced to offer shelter to another couple caught in the storm. Pretenders is a psychological drama about the truths and illusions of a relationship.

Vallo Toomla

Vallo Toomla has studied theology at the University of Tartu and continued his studies at Tallinn University's Baltic Film and Media School, majoring in film directing. His debut feature “Pretenders” premiered in San Sebastian International Film festival – New Directors Section in 2016.
