The main character of the film is a 45-year-old Georgian peasant nicknamed Akhmeta, who lives together with his severely ill wife - Khatia in a Georgian village - Shindisi, near hostilities.

The events in Shindisi during August war change the life of an ordinary Georgian peasant forever. Shindisi is the place, where armed Russian forces from a local railway station violate so called peaceful corridor and open fire to Georgian warriors in ambush. "This film is special for me as for a director," said Dito Tsintsadze, "As It will give me an opportunity to make an epic Georgian film, in terms of an idea, scale and technique. This is a story about a man, who was unaware of his inner strength and who became a hero in the fullest sense of the word. This film is about the heroes of my homeland, those who sacrificed for our well-being and peace!"

The film has an interesting cast: Merab Ninidze, Ia Sukhitashvili, Dato Bakhtadze, Misha Gomiashvili. As Edmond Minashvili, the producer mentioned at the meeting with the press representatives, there are ongoing negotiations with John Malkovich.
