Kristine Briede and Audrius Stonys's meditative documentary essay portrays the less-remembered generation of cinema poets of the Baltic New Wave. With finesse, they push beyond the barriers of the common historiographic investigation in order to achieve a consummate poetic treatment of the ontology of documentary creation.

Audrius Stonys was born on April 28, 1966 in Vilnius, Lithuanian SSR, USSR. He is a director and writer, known for Woman and the Glacier (2016), The Bell (2007) and Cenotaph (2013).

Kristine Briede

Kristine Briede was born 17th of June 1970 in Cesis, Latvia. From 1995 works with Locomotive filmmakers collective as producer, writer, director. From 2000 has been living and working in Karosta, Liepaja - as one of the initiators and founders of "The Culture and information center K@2".
