Over the course of six weeks, approximately 700 cinemas in 40 countries will host film premieres, retrospectives, special film programs, art-house film screenings, exhibitions, discussions, meetings with filmmakers, and many other events. Tbilisi is also joining in this celebration of cinema.
With the initiative of the Tbilisi International Film Festival, Cavea is offering the audience a selection of seven full-length feature films centred around youth themes.
Film screenings for this section will be hosted daily at 19:00 by Cavea Galleria from November 27 to December 3.
Furthermore, the art-house streaming platform Mubi and the online documentary film platform Vod have devoted substantial efforts to spotlight European films, presenting an exclusive program to the audience.
This project is organized by the European Film Academy and is supported by Creative Europe, the International Confederation of Art House Cinemas (CICAE), and Europa Cinema.
Commencing on November 1, this cinematic celebration will conclude on December 9 in Berlin, encompassing a variety of events throughout its duration.
